Conservatories
|
- Congratulations for considering what
is probably the most under-rated home improvement that you can
possibly make to your home.
-
- Whether you want a conservatory for
a garden room, breakfast room, playroom or even an office, you'll
soon come to realise that it is truly a room for all seasons and
you'll wonder how you ever did without it.
|
 |
| Adding
a conservatory to your home not only gives you more space, but also
opens up your house to the outside world, bringing your home to life
in a way nothing else can |
|
 |
|
Light and Airy
Natural light, sunshine and
constantly changing scenery act as a magnet to young and old, so you
will find that a conservatory will rapidly become one of the most
popular rooms in your home. |
|
|
|
Closer to Nature
A conservatory brings you so much
closer to nature than doors and windows ever can. The ability to
throw open house to the sights, sounds and scents of a garden or
patio is a much loved benefit of a conservatory and one you will
prize dearly. |
|
|
|
Choice of Styles
Whether you choose modern or
traditional, we have an extensive range of conservatory styles, from
lean-to units through to grandiose Period-style conservatories. Our
conservatories can be individually tailored with a style, size and
layout to suit your home, garden...and also your pocket! |
|
 |
|
Stylish Design
Concealed gutters and stylish
mouldings keep the lines clean and elegant, while for those choosing
Period designs, details such as cast aluminium ridge crests and
finals will add delightfully authentic finishing touches. |
|
 |
|
Roof Glazing
Glazing for the roof can be toughened
glass or a triple-wall long life polycarbonate with excellent
insulation properties, in a choice of bronze, clear or translucent
finish. |
|
 |
|
Finishing Touches
Just as you want your conservatory to
reflect the period style of your house, you need to ensure your
accessories are also in keeping. We have an attractive range of
handles available, including modern locking handles (which may help
to reduce your annual household insurance premium). These work
either push button or with a key, removing the need for unsightly
add-on window locks. |

|
Fit Them &
Forget Them
You really couldn't get anything
requiring less maintenance than our conservatories! They don't need
painting, so they don't warp, flake or peel. Just occasionally oil
the hinges and locks and gently rub the PVC-U frames over with a mild
detergent to keep them at their best. |
|
 |
|
Soundproofing
Offers You Peace & Quiet
Under test, our double glazed windows
will achieve a rating of 30-40db (decibels). Typical ambient sound
measures around 60db in suburban conditions, so the windows in your
new conservatory will more than halve the noise, allowing you to relax
undisturbed. |
|
 |
|
Excellent Thermal
Insulation Saves You Money
PVC-U is a very poor conductor of
heat and therefore makes an excellent insulator. In the construction
industry, a material's U-value measures its ability to insulate,
with the lower the value, the better the insulant. A typical old
single glazed window has a U-value of approx 4.4W/m2K. Our frames
have been tested and proven to have a U-value of 2.6W/m2K meaning
our frames keep in nearly 60% more heat than typical older frames.
This conserves energy and more importantly saves you money on your
heating bill. |

|
Selection of
Glazing Beads for Maximum Choice
Beads can be selected by the consumer
to match individual styles and can be fitted internally for even
greater security, if required. |
|
 |
|
Trickle Ventilation
All our conservatories feature
trickle ventilation mechanisms via air channels in the frame. these
allow ventilation without compromising security and allow any water vapour
to be quickly dissipated. |
|
 |
|
Traditional Appearance
The deep chamfers on our profiles have
been carefully designed to replicate the putty line of a timber
structure. This gives all the advantages of PVC-U, while maintaining a
traditional appearance.
|
|
 |
|
Glazing Options
The diverse range of our glazing
options means you can really reflect your individual style and
personality in your conservatory windows. Whether you want leaded, Georgian,
clear, patterned or stained glass, we can help you
choose the right look for your home and your budget.

|
No More Draughts
Our systems keep warmth in and
weather out, With our new profiles, the latest sealing technology
and modern sealed double glazed units, you can expect an end to
draughts. |
|
 |
|
Made in the UK for
the UK
Designed specifically for the UK
market's variable weather conditions, to exacting German engineering
guidelines, our profiles are manufactured in North Wales. So we can
help keep the warmth in and the weather out. |
|
 |
|
Reinforcement
Conservatories will be reinforced with
galvanised steel where either size or location makes this a
requirement. |
|
 |
| Once
fitted, your conservatory will be with you for many years to come.
So make sure you choose correctly and don't let yourself be rushed
into buying until you're ready. |
|
Security and Safety
With a high percentage of burglaries
committed by opportunists on easy targets, no home owner nowadays can
afford to neglect basic security precautions. With our systems, you can choose your own level of security
to incorporate the latest locking systems.
We will be able to provide you with details
on a full range of security systems. For the safety conscious, tilt and
turn windows provide a large unrestricted opening for
use as an emergency exit.
Toughened glass (complying with British
Standard) is used for all glazing under 800mm from floor level for extra
strength and for your peace of mind.
You can sleep safe at night in the
knowledge that our PVC-U is self-extinguishing and will not burn unless
exposed to a powerful and continuous heat source.
